Lebanon has a new coach in charge with Curt Berger taking over the Greyhounds' coaching duties.

He has some kids back from a 9-21 team, 2-8 in the conference.

Berger has had coaching stints at Red Bud and Piasa Southwestern on the resume and he should have some kids back that have experience in varsity games.

Two of the top scorers from a year ago return for the Greyhounds.

Six-foot-five senior David Krumsieg netted a team-high 14.5 points a game last season for the Greyhounds while 5-foot-10 senior guard Derrick Guthrie added 12 a night.

Five-foot-eleven senior Ayinde Bennett added 6.5 points a contest last year while three other returning players averaged around two points per game.

Parker Grob, a 5-foot-9 junior guard, 6-foot-3 junior Luke Krumsieg and 5-foot-11 senior Garrett Rappolee were part of the scoring last winter.

Everyone else appears to be new to the varsity experience.

OUTLOOK – They have experience back. Coach Berger, if memory serves, is a 2-3 zone defense sort of coach from his days at Red Bud are any indication, that is what the opposition will see this season out of the Greyhounds this season.
