North tops South, 101-91 in IBCA 1A/2A All-Star Game

BLOOMINGTON-NORMAL - The 1A/2A North Team held off a late rally by the South to post a 101-91 win in the 35th Annaul IBCA All-Star Game held that the Shirk Center on the campus of Illinois Wesleyan University.
The North was led in scoring by Peoria Manual's Paris Gulley who netted 18 points in the win. Gulley was named the North Team's "MVP."
Three other North members hit for double-figures in the win. Eureka's Jordan Prosser pitched in 14 while Chicago Christian's Andy Stuursma and Putnam County's Kevin Fay added 10 each.
Newton's Scott Mammoser was named the South's "MVP" after scoring 17 points which included five 3-pointers.
Massac County's Byron Bailey tossed home 13 points while Tolono Unity's Zebo Zebe chipped in 12. Woodlawn's Bronson Verhines added eight points for the South.
The South now leads the small school series 20-15.
