1. MOUNDS MERIDIAN (22-1)
The Bobcats continue to ace exams. Beat a good Carrier Mills team in GEC/SEC Shootout.
2. WALTONVILLE (18-5)
Losing @ Nashville is part of the "World Tour." S-V and Madison this weekend at home.
3. WOODLAWN (17-5)
Walloped Sesser-Valier and Cisne. At Wayne City on Tuesday night.
4. CARRIER MILLS (19-4)
GEC tournament champs gave top one a battle Saturday night in shootout.
5. NEOGA (15-9)
Three good opponents left on tough schedule including Marshall.
6. CUMBERLAND (16-6)
Pirates could make some serious waves in the postseason waters.
7. NORRIS CITY-OMAHA-ENFIELD (16-6)
Cardiac Cardinals snagged another big win on Saturday. Regional threat.
8. TRICO (16-8)
Pretty tough schedule outside of the BDC should make the Pioneers regional ready.
9. NORTH CLAY (15-4)
Cards look like the top threat to Woodlawn at South Central Regional.
10. OKAWVILLE (12-12)
Record doesn’t show the quality of this team. Young Rockets could come up big in February.

West Frankfort Supersectional Area "Top Ten" Class 2A Rankings
1. BREESE CENTRAL (22-2)
Have been the steadiest of the South. Losses have come to two good large schools.
2. MURPHYSBORO (21-2)
Cruising in the SIRR Ohio. Four more league games for the sweep.
3. NASHVILLE (17-6)
Got even with Pinckneyville on Friday. Hornets are back in the SIRR Miss. Hunt.
4. PINCKNEYVILLE (19-4)
Panthers should be thinking postseason and not dwell on Nashville loss.
5. DU QUOIN (19-6)
Indians need to get fired up for the next few weeks. They have Peoria talent.
6. METRO-EAST LUTHERAN (21-6)
Strength of schedule should help regional run. Will likely have to deal with Columbia soon.
7. HARRISBURG (17-6)
They have one more crack at Murphysboro. Could grab a piece of the Ohio hardware.
8. HERRIN (19-7)
Coach Lukens has had a tough campaign off the court. On the court has been much better.
9. ANNA-JONESBORO (14-11)
Wildcats are a “wildcard” in the Carterville Regional.
10. SPARTA (15-9)
A-J loss not expected. Took down Trico for a second time on Saturday.
